Human bodies and skin already make several of the vitamins and amino acids that this serum contains. However, the ones that we create on our own are supposed to be used for the everyday maintenance of our bodies. They are needed to keep the status quo. However, we cannot voluntarily make them in excess of a certain amount, and they are not infinite. By supplying additional assistance topically, we can give our body a leg up on the battle against aging, and help our skin win the war versus wrinkles once and for all.

How To Use Aquallure Vitamin C Plus Serum

Cleanse your face thoroughly prior to use in order to ensure that you remove any dirt, debris, or unwanted oil from the surface of your skin. Leaving any trace behind could get caught under any product you place on your skin, and potentially result in clogged pores or worse, breakouts.

Once you have thoroughly cleansed, gently massage a thin layer of Aquallure Vitamin C Plus Serum into the face and neck area. An amount the size of a pearl should be just enough for one application. Continue applying daily for restored radiance and a healthy glow. This serum can be used morning and night for a more intense, faster restoration experience.

Aquallure Vitamin C Plus Serum Ingredients

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C)

This version of the popular vitamin's name signifies the salt version of ascorbic acid, which is then broken down or dissolved in order to attain a liquid form. Most often, this pure, solid form is dissolved to become part of a solution, like in this case. Aquallure uses Deionized Water for the base of this serum, which is perfect for this application. We all know that Vitamin C is an antioxidant and how important it is for fighting colds, but what about wrinkles? As it turns out, Vitamin C is effective at brightening dull complexions and evening skin tone through just topical applications.

Hyaluronic Acid

The name on the label reads "Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide", however you may be more familiar with the more common nickname. This popular humectant is one of the best moisturizers out there, as it can hold multiple times its size in water molecules. All of the water it carries makes an excellent base in which to dissolve other ingredients, such as the solid form of Vitamin C. In this way, Hyaluronic Acid performs double duty as not only a moisturizer, but as a unifier for the entire product.

Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis)

Pure Aloe is an ancient healing agent and skin moisturizer. The plant is a sort of succulent which is actually related to the common evergreen. Even though they are native to tropical areas, they can be cultivated everywhere. Most commonly they are used for their plethora of health benefits. Aloe Vera does so well in dry areas because it can store so much water, and this is what allows it to hydrate skin so intensely. Well hydrated skin stretches much better than dry skin. This makes collagen and elastic fibers stay functional for longer, slowing the development of any new wrinkles.

d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)

More than most others, Vitamin E has been researched tirelessly to uncover the hidden potential within it. Scientists have discovered eight different forms, depending on whether it was synthetically or naturally derived from the original source, like vegetable oil or wheat germ. Any form with the prefix "d-Alpha" means that is has been derived all-naturally. Natural forms have been clinically shown to be more effective than the synthetic counterparts, though both do have antioxidant power.

Amino Acid Complex

Amino Acids are the building blocks of our bodies, at the cellular level. Our skin cells are made of amino acids, so by including them in this serum, Aquallure Vitamin C Plus Serum enables our skin to recreate itself. By providing those extra amino acids, our skin is able to rebuild damaged skin cells, replumping with the moisture from any additional ingredients and leaving skin truly healing rather than just hiding. This collection of amino acids includes Guanidinopentanoic Acid, also known as Argireline, or Botox in a Jar. It's famous for its relation to the namesake toxin, though they are more like cousins.
